MCC performing in the General Contracting service method, charges us to operate as the prime supervising contractor for the entire construction process, completing the project within budget, on schedule, with a high degree of quality. Under this method, we are given a design, and we implement our preconstruction/estimating, planning, bidding, due diligence phases to present our client with the responsible proposal and package to get the job done correctly.
MCC has been a self-performing General Contractor since their beginning. With decades of experience in operating as the General Contractor and a self-performing contractor, our company understands the large and small technicalities of skilled craftmanship, quality assurance, jobsite safety and efficient building. In the early days of MCC, it wasn’t uncommon for us to perform our own concrete, erect our own steel, install roofing and building envelope, do our own doors & hardware, and install most of the finishes on a project. Over the years, the industry has changed, and in current times, if the situation is right, we will still self-perform our own concrete work which gives us more control over quality and schedule. Our history and experience with self-performing trades gives us perspective on both the weeds and the bird’s eye view, which makes us unique in our industry. Having operated in the Greater Savannah area since our company’s founding, we have developed and maintained a dependable network of quality Trade-Partners, vendors, suppliers, and other businesses that help us meet and exceed our client’s expectations on each project we build. Without our great Trade-Partners, we wouldn’t be able to deliver the exceptional facilities and experiences we provide everyday to our clients and communities, hence the term “Trade-Partner” in lieu of “subcontractor”, we use at MCC.
